![]() That is how you scale your influence and if you’re a company that is how you scale your business. We'll all be able to grow together as we keep learning from each other. If you have a proven method that generates results and has successes in any part of your life, you should take the time to put that into a repeatable and teachable concept that allows others to do it just as successfully. Lastly this book showed me the incredible value of creating processes that can be repeated by others. Other best practices I stay consistent with to put myself ahead, is to implement reading 10 pages a day in a good book, frequent journaling, and picking up Spanish lessons on the Babble App. From those of you who might have seen, I recently completed my second Tony Robbins Virtual Seminar of 2021. In this book, Patrick Bet-David helps entrepreneurs understand exactly what they need to do next (Brian Tracy, author of Eat That Frog) by translating this skill into a valuable methodology. With this time, I have made it a priority to continuously invest in learning and growing opportunities outside of the career. Both successful entrepreneurs and chess grandmasters have the vision to look at the pieces in front of them and anticipate their next five moves. Whether it was specific times to wake up in the morning, early morning workouts, and even breaks to read, all of those detailed out tasks during the day helped me hold myself accountable when others might find it easy to slip-up. That is where I have found routines to be incredibly helpful. Because essentially no one outside of your house is going to know any different. During this time of nearly two years of COVID, with a heavy dose of work from home, it is easy to slip up and leave yourself unaccountable for many projects day after day. Whether you may think of that as holding yourself accountable or other people on your team, the ability to take the appropriate steps in a timely manner is key to getting goals accomplished. The biggest factor in all of this and being able to implement any action items that I come up with is – Accountability. What is measured can be scaled and improved You must create systems that are able to operate without you. Businesses built on systems and procedures grow in value because they have a life of their own without being dependent on any certain person = They are scalable! To scale your business: 1.Let your people surprise you with what they accomplish when you give them the responsibility. Give them specific challenges to meet that can be measured and have deadlines. Don’t just tell your employees to work harder or get better. To hold accountable: Make specific quantitative statements, not blanket qualitative ones. Then act upon those initial steps to generate a solution. The ability to solve problems well, comes down to the ability to take a complex issue you are facing and break it down into a step-by-step formula that helps you identify the root of the problem.Recommended by: This was the book chosen for the book club in my apartment complex, recommended this time by Zach Perlmutter.
